In-home, small-group boarding for family, friends, and BarkBuds walking clients.
BarkBuds boarding is not open to the public. I only accept boarding for current dog-walking clients, plus family and friends (and select referrals when approved).
This keeps the home calm, routines consistent, and the pack safe.

How Boarding Works
1️⃣ Request Dates
Send a boarding request with your travel dates and your dog’s details.
2️⃣ Required Trial Night (First-time clients only)
Before an extended stay, a single-night test stay is required at 50% of the regular rates.
This ensures your dog is comfortable, relaxed, and a good fit for in-home boarding, and also gives your dog a chance to experience the entire routine from drop-off to pick-up before their first extended stay.
3️⃣ Book Your Stay
Once the trial night is successful, vacation bookings can be confirmed.
4️⃣ Drop-Off & Stay
Your dog stays in my home and enjoys daily walks, structured routines, and supervised play.
5️⃣ Pickup & Happy Reunion
You return to a happy, well-cared-for dog.
Boarding Requirements
To keep all dogs safe and comfortable:
- Friendly with other dogs
- Friendly with children (no babies in home)
- Up-to-date vaccinations
- Comfortable in a home environment
- Able to settle overnight
- No aggressive behaviour
Please disclose:
- Feeding routine
- Medications or medical needs
- Separation anxiety or behavioural concerns
Pricing
- $75 per night
$10 per night discount for two dog homes.

Boarding availability on long weekends is limited and fills quickly. Please book early to secure your spot.
Long weekends must be booked as full three-night package.
